SPF 8 is NOT strong enough in San Antonio! I have used it before and did fine. I am crispy burned at the top where my bathing suit was not. OUCH!

You nuts!! I use SPF30 here in Chicago!!

SPF 8 is not strong enough ANYWHERE! There is no point in using sunscreen with lower than SPF 15; I have read this in multiple places. With 15 you can still get a tan but at least be protected from burning (as long as you reapply often) and other dangers of the sun.

Get some aloe vera and hope you feel better soon! :)

I will be using my son's sunscreen tomorrow!

70% chance of thunderstorms today for Fiesta Texas! My DS will not be too happy.

jamsmom, I hope the hurt goes away soon.

sunscreen -at or higher than spf 15, every day, rain or shine.

I use at the very least SPF 30, but normally SPF 45. You will never see me laying in the sun, if I get a tan is from being in the pool and maybe a few minutes in the sun to dry out, nothing else.
