We are leaving for Disney on Saturday! (can't wait)... We are a family of 4 - myself, DH, DD 10, DS 5. We have the dining plan for our stay. For a total of 10 nites, how much would you bring for spending money?

What I did on my last vac. was that we all had $100 to spend on souvies etc... Also, I would count on $10 pp per day for breakfast, and at least $5 for the incidental slice of cake, dole whip etc... We didnt spend all of our souvie $$ and had a special lunch before our drive home, instead of the planned on fast food baskets

I'd bring about $400, keeping in mind anything large can be charged to your room or credit cards. I love Disney more than anyplace else on earth, but I'll admit it's a great place to change $20 bills into $1 bills.

My dad swears Disney has cost our family more than some of our trips to Europe! HA! HA! After paying my own way now, I'm close to believing him! The thing about Disney is that it can be incredibly expensive or it can be reasonable for a family vacation. It is all about choice. You can choose to spend a little or a lot here. We will probably bring about 450-500 in cash and then charge to our room for our souvineres.

Your dad is right! WDW is very expensive. The cash we bring is mostly for tips and such, so it's about 5-600 $. We charge everythign back to the room. I do the check out and I never look It's scary! The amount is in the thousands and we never stay more than 5 days and we are only 2 adults.
