Just wondering how much money should we take for two weeks we will have are passes so just really need money for food and just things we want to buy. Also where is good places for meals also am a vegaterian.

No really sure anyone can answer regarding spending money, it's a difficult question.. will you be buying clothes? are you taking a credit card?

Of course it depends majorly on whether your do counter service or sit down restaurants, in the parks to eat or offsite, clothes shopping or not.

When myself(20) and my BF(24) go, as far as we're concerned we're on holiday and although we're not stupid with money we don't penny pinch in the slightest (not like back at home!) We also have all our passes before we go and we do a lot of shopping. I don't like wasting time umming and ahhing while on holiday so if i see something i just buy it (again not like back at home!). Therefore, we normally take about £2000. We have more available to us on credit cards if i go a bit mad, but we don't need it.

I'm sure you could do it for less, but the way i see it, we don't go every year and if it takes us 1 and a half years to save up and pay for it all, so we might as well go all out when we're there.

I think if you take 2.5K you should be okay, personally we dont scrimp on holiday so always take plenty of spends. If you dont take a CC(which we dont), then 3.5-4K

...£4000 Jules?!!! I'm coming with you next time!:teeth:

We usually spend betwen £1500 & £2000 while we are there, for 2 adults and 2 kids, eating well and not denying ourselves much... but we don't 'shop' much for clothes etc.

For the two of us we can easily manage on £ 100 per day. The tickets are already purchased before we go. We normally eat breakfast in the room for convienience.

We usually take a lot more, but come back with the extra money towards the next holiday.

This is definitely a 'how long is a piece of string' question :teeth:

We all have different budgets depending on all sorts of factors - personal circumstances; size of family travelling; activities planned; eating preferences; pre-paid or not pre-paid for tickets, hotels, cars, etc.;

If you can decide on the likely cost of the things you know you'll be buying (such as park tickets, if you haven't already got them) and then reckon on an average of about £50 per day for a couple to eat reasonably well (IMHO!), then you need to add on an amount for souvenirs and shopping if you plan to do any.

That probably doesn't help one bit, but I think you can see from the answers you've already had that there's going to be a big variation in the amount we each plan to spend. :teeth:

I still believe that if tickets are already purchased then anything from £1000.00 - £1500.00 will yield a wonderful time. On the other side of the coin If You had £10k at your disposal it would go quite quick.

Something for everyone.

Brian

We take around £2000 + We have Credit Cards, for emergencies.
But we are 2 adults and 1 child...
It's hard to say, depending on how much you want to buy/spend over there, and food, etc.
But I think £2k is enough personally.

We went for two weeks last year. Two adults 3 children (of the large variety)- two who count themselves as adults but I'm yet to be convinced.

Apart from Park Passes which we had bought before travelling we took £2300 in cash and travellers cheques and spent about £500 on the credit card. We bought $800 dollars in travellers cheques back with us.

Oh Help. I was planning on taking £1000 and the credit card Trying not to use it. We got our passes. Two aldults and 13 year old. Oh well you only live once. :Pinkbounc

Were going for 3 weeks and were taking about £2500 in cash and TC's and a credit card. We have all our passes and everything is paid for i really hope that its enough:Pinkbounc

Hi,

Sweet Tomatoes is perfect if you're a veggie, and great if you're not too!

It has a salad buffet, with patatoes, soups, bread, desserts etc.We aren't veggies and loved it in there, very reasonably priced too.

I don't know how to do links so do a search on Sweet Tomatos, ther's one at the end of International Drive I think it was?
