yeah, these numbers look good to me.

I'm heading down in Jan with free dining for 5 of the 7 days in the world.

Looking at taking approx. $1200.00 to $1500.00 for my wife and I. She's been dreaming of this her entire life and if I can help it "sorry we can't afford it" isnt going to be a phrase she hears during this trip!

We spent about $400 including tips and extras we wanted like the Mickey Ears. For 4 days family of 6.

Sorry to ask what may seem silly questions, but here goes: We are staying at Pop. I know the KttW will allow me to charge items to the room. The question is, Does Disney take your CC number, and authorize $XXX for your stay, right at the beginning, or do you give them the # and they only charge what you spend?

We stayed at Value All-Star Music we added our debit card to the KttW and there was a $500 limit, once you reach the limit they would call you to get authorization to charge the card on file. We just payed the balance with our GC and Cash =)

$500 makes sense. Moderate is $1000 and deluxe is $1500. It looks like each level goes up in $500 increments. This is just the standard amount though (not a limit). You can specify a different amount up front. When this poster reached the standard authorization amount and paid her balance, she chose not to authorize a new amount, thus turning off future charging priviliges.
