Speedos: Love or hate them?

My co-worker was just today saying how she hates them even on swimmers. I offered to lend her my glasses.

Yup, only Olympic swimers/divers or others with simular bods should be allowed to wear them. 99% of the men out there simply CANNOT pull it off! (Pull off the look, that is, not the Spedo )

I don't mind them at all. I don't like them, I don't dislike them, it just doesn't matter to me. So .... I guess I like them?

I don't care if they're on a fat, skinny, just right, old, young, middle aged, hairy chest, no hairy chest, big belly, no belly, hairy legs, no hairy legs, hairy back, no hairy back, long haired, short haired, no haired whatever guy. Whatever floats their boat! Or floats whatever!

It depends.

A few years ago we went to Whitewater (water park in Marietta, GA). A guy in front of me had on a speedo and it had a HUGE run in the back of it. I was afraid to look at the front. BLECH!

On Olympics athletes I think they're ok. At least they have great bodies and shave their body hair. I think it's hairy thighs that put me over the edge oh, along with the beer belly.

I think they look tacky unless they are on professional swimmers who are wearing them to train or compete.

Speedo DOES make some nice swimsuits for the general public, but it creeps me out when I see large men walking around the beach with those little ones on.

Hate em -- had to wear banana hammocks (what we called them ) for WAY too many years while swimming. I couldn't imagine why anyone would choose to wear one for recreation purposes.

Yuck yuck yuck!! No guy should be wearing speedos (well I guess except for swimmers since they probably need them). Other than that, every other guy should wear swimming trunks.

Now, this is a very interesting topic indeed. Speedos live very little to the imagination, and for this guy here, he would rather see bikinis on a woman than a man, but that's just my own personal preference.

I mean, can you imagine Normy coming into the bar one day wearing that thing? It would scare both the customers and the employers away!

Now, I know for a fact that speedos are very popular in Europe. I remember one time during my route, a guy answered the door in them. He had just moved here from France, and didn't understand that they just weren't part of the popular culture here.

My eyes still burn from that image.

Swim trunks for me. And swim trunks for America.

Please, people. Think of the children...
