Speed traps on I-75 heading north to I-4?

Fellow SWFL drivers. Any tips on speed traps (mile markers etc) on 75? I know on I-4 they hang out in Auburndale.

My car doesn't have cruise and on that 3hr drive from Naples, sometimes my foot tends to get a wee bit heavy

Talk to your foot . See what it needs you to do to help it lighten up. Or see if there's some way it can help you earn extra money to pay for any speeding tickets it gets you through no fault of your own .

Good question for the transportation board....
My advice would be to pick a shiny red sports car and follow him. Then you don't have to worry about speed traps....you have a ticket magnet

Not trying to be completely sarcastic or anything, but seriously ... just go the speed limit. They aren't posted for kicks and giggles ... and since I'm a Florida driver I can say that driving in Florida sucks, between the rain and the tourist (whom I appreciate dearly so I don't have a state income tax) I don't want to also worry about a fellow Floridian who's too busy to pay attention to the road.

I am sure the OP knows that it is against the law to speed and the dangers involved. You can even get into accidents driving the speed limit with another driver going the speed limit. And yes, without looking up statistics, you are probably more likely to get into one by speeding.

I'm sure the OP knows that it's dangerous to speed as well ... but as a daughter of a retired firefighter, who responded to numerous accidents on I-75, it's incredibly frustrating to read a post from someone who's more concerned about trying to find a way to avoid a speed trap.

To avoid a speed trap ... don't speed.

We don't know how fast the op is planning on going. At least where I live, it can be more dangerous to drive the speed limit, since everyone else is going 10 miles or so over.
There are traps near me that are set up for no other reason than to fill the coffers of the local municipality.. They police officer will wait behind a bush, right where the 55 mph turns to 40 mph. You'll get a ticket if you aren't already below 50 as you pass that sign. Then you plead not guilty, you are given a court date, and the judge immediately offers you a plea bargain for parking on the highway. $150 fine with no points or state surcharge. Everyone takes it and pays the money. It's a racket.

So, I'm not going to judge the op just because he wants to know where the speed traps are.

We've driven to WDW 15-16 times and everytime I get off I-10 and hit I-75 it is time to floor it or get run over. Just an observation.

Not all. My cheapo car is relatively new (3 years old). And I didn't get the cruise control.

It's not a good touring car though; just bought it for travel in-town. But we do take it on the expressway.
