Speculation on how long Season of the Force will last

I'm a little foggy on the whole "Season of the Force" event/s.
Is this a play on the Christmas Season and once the holidays are over so will SotF?

I'm guessing the Hyperspace Mountain overlay will be done by the new year but the addition of new scenes to Star Tours will remain right?

I'm not visiting until April but was hoping that things would still be in full SotF-mode until May 4th.

They haven't said how long it will last. On the blog someone asked if it would still be running during the SW race weekend in January and the response was an end date has not been announced. So they're not even confirming that it will be running for even 2 months.

No end date has been released (at least they I know of)

As others have said, no end date has been announced. Originally, when they announced Season of the Force the projected start date was sometime in early 2016, so in that way, I don't necessarily think it's tied to the holidays (despite the play on the name).
