Spectrum Moms Take on The World! Our Last Day...Multiple Posts!

All I've done is buy a new pair of pajamas for the trip!

I'd better get cracking on my list...

Kathy

Well, you're both ahead of me. Our ADR window opens in one week for our June trip and I've been trying to figure all that out.

Happy we're down to 50 days and starting tomorrow we'll be able to start saying "we're going to WDW next month"! :thumbsup2

So for me this trip...took a back seat in my Disney planning brain, as I finalized and did our Thanksgiving trip just last week :goodvibes...I had some of those Disney blues on the last few days...but it was more for going w/ my kids than for myself...as I have this trip NEXT month :confused3 how'd that happen and then in about 10 months my 5 day anni trip w/ my hubby Matt...

I started a "to-do" list for this trip awhile back and after reading Heidi's have added some more...so let's take a look:

book airfare-done

Kathy book ressie-done

decide on food DDP or OOP- done OOP won

start new ticker-done

figure out touring plans-done

discuss CS options-done

plan one TS-done

decide on Photopass-done sharing cost w/ 6 of us-Amy handling

Now my stuff to do: (I am trying to take a very relaxed approach to this trip...I may not do much of any of this till after the Holidays...as I have a small 1 night away this weekend and then 4-day Vegas trip in 1 1/2 weeks yet to finish planning...plus Christmas and trying to get my thoughts organized for my TR of our trip last week....I don't even know when my ADR window opens up for my Oct '11 trip....ah too many trips )

Make souviner list (shouldn't be much)

fill out budget chart: OOP food, souviners, tip money

make colored clothespins for towels in villa (2 per person)

finish DIS tags for each lady

make sign for our villa door

use Jess's disign and make shirt

organize my trip essentials

make packing list

PACK! (I'm checking a bag)

finalize Garden Grocer list w/ ladies (Kathy ordering)

purchase Disney g/c for my OOP food expenses

finalize airport transportation w/ Anne Marie

finalize child care on Thurs/Fri of trip w/ my parents/Matt

write up schedule for home

grocery shop for home

get ready to go....:cool1:

am I missing anything????

Honestly I don't really have a to-do list going at this point! :scared1:

Much like Julie said, I'll probably get more organized after Christmas. I feel like most of the big things are done - airfare booked, resort booked, park tickets purchased, ADR made, itinerary & touring plans done. I've also been focusing on our family February trip...

Things I know right now off the top of my head are:

Get a shirt & iron-ons to make my shirt with Jessica's design
Plan for my absence at home (luckily I can just update all the lists I made from when I was away this fall)
Write a packing list (I really need to give this some thought with the weather being so much different than any time we've been there before.)
Organize all of my travel docs
Pack - also checking a bag!
Pre-order Photopass CD
Finalize my Garden Grocer choices for Kathy
Buy a new pair of gloves & maybe a hat

That's it for now!!

We're going to Disney next month!! Happy December!

Got new hat and gloves too bought before we left 2 weeks ago plus speaking of Disney Jammies I was "jealous" of Tracy's so I bought some awesome Disney Christmas ones while we were just there can't wait for a Disney jammie party AND I picked out my tiara to wear down there (I didn't buy it there, but it's a Disney one-is Rachel's)

Posting from my phone sorry not in green :)

Ah yes a tiara, I need to buy one of those!

@Amy...Saturday or Sundays didn't work out for us...can you sneak away on a Friday night after your DH gets home from work to meet for dinner and the Disney store???

Well I got 2 January trip related things done yesterday...too bad they weren't on my list!! :rotfl2:

Ladies!!

Do you want to add the Winnie the Pooh ride to our plans for our morning in Fantasyland ??? (right now we are doing PhilharMagic and iasw) I actually don't care if we ride the Ride, I just want to play in that cool que!!

Yes the new Pooh cue looked so fun we used FP both times we went on so it would be a treat let's do it right away so we don't have to share w/ any kids ;)

I'll post a to do list this weekend, I need to make one first:confused3 I just honestly haven't had time. I do think my dh is getting me some Disney pj's for a Christmas gift. I forgot about the tiara, so the to do lists posted already helped me remember ;):rolleyes1

NERD ALERT!!

Okay, everybody, I admit it... I AM a nerd!!

Haven't done too much in the way of trip prep, but today I did purchase the all-important Zip Loc Bags that I will use for packing. (I find them to be invaluable.) Picked up a plain white long-sleeve tee shirt, too.

Also did my "travel aisle" shopping (shout-out to jordanyosh!) AND, I bought a package of multi-colored clothespin-like clips for the seven of us to use in the bathrooms to keep all the white towels straight as to their owners.

Told you I was a nerd!

**Heidi, I'm definitely up for visiting my Pooh-Bear! pooh:

Right now I'm fairly busy... in the throes of Christmas shopping and decorating... but will check in as often as I can!

'Night, All!

(Oooh! One and one-half months to go!!)

Kathy

You are so not a nerd because if you are, I am too!

I was in the travel aisle at Target Friday night picking up a couple things and totally thinking of Jordan while doing it. And then I went to pick up zip lock bags too....but I didn't get any because I wanted to see if the Dollar store has any Disney themed ones!

PSST! Julie is making us personalized clothes pins.........remember??

That clothespin idea is brilliant.
What size zip-locs do you use? I got some two-gallon guys at Dollar tree and thought they might work.

Sorry... missed this post Heidi! A Friday night is a maybe... :confused3 Tim often doesn't get home until 7:00 or later which would make it close to 8pm before I could be in Manchester! :headache:

Wonder if he'll be home for Christmas... will have to pop by his PTR and see if Wendy posted anything about it...

Hedy, I use all sizes (!) but mostly one- and two-gallon. :thumbsup2

Kathy

I asked Winkers the other day and she thought he'd be there until Feb.

Just getting caught up on things here again - your trip is getting so close!!!! :yay: Kathy - that closepin idea is genius!!

Loving all the lists - I hope time goes slowly enough to get everything done, but not too slowly. ;)

Please send prayers and pixiedust for my niece, Catie. She is in the OR as we speak. Her surgery should last about six hours... I will post tonight with an update. Thank you from the bottom of my heart....
