Congratulations on your New Mom status! All I can say is: Enjoy every minute with that little baby because in the blink of an eye he or she will be starting High School (like my first baby!!)

I am so glad that I found this thread. I had been reading Kathy's trip report, and wondered what happened, now I know. I currently work as a care coordinator and on my case load are individuals that are on the autism spectrum. Unfortunately Alaska does not have a lot of references or trainings on Autism for families and those who work with the families. Just recently we have seen an increase in trainings and support for the school district and therapists. I have gained an understanding of Autism directly from some families and readings on the internet. You moms sound like amazing women and I can't wait to read about all the fun that you have.

When you click the link it actually takes you to the story, they are just using FB to count people. I've made my husband like all kinds of things that send out weird notices. This one was EASY!

I know what you mean. FB is huge time sucker. I have to say though, it is nice to see that the most popular girl has to clean up poopy diapers just like me and the most popular guy in school is whining about long lines at Disney because he's not in a cool group like this.
