Wow! Those chocolate strawberries look so good. I was eyeing them up a few weeks ago. Sorry to hear that were not "all that".

Happy Belated Moms Day to the Spectrum Moms!

Ohhh - Amy - I just looked back and saw your bellini. Looks delish. And the candy looks pretty good too.

Hi ME! Happy belated Mother's Day to you, too!
:flower3:

...I had a piece of the chocolate caramel fudge, I was planning to eat only half and save the other half until later. Well.......that didn't happen. :rotfl: It was SO yummy I ate the whole thing...

I'll tell you a secret: my piece didn't make it to Illuminations, either!! ;)

I think I should do a point update soon, but glad you are all keep tracking and having fun :-)

I don't remember going in the caramel store... Oh I got a pretzel in Germany, will have to see if I took a picture of it, it was ok- would get it again, but not a must have thing. And also would prove to be not the best idea for eating as it was very filling and I wanted to do a lot more sampling around the world.(my tummy was also not in the best condition and I had hoped the bread, in this case pretzel would settle it more)

Huh! You too? What did we eat for lunch?

You know I don't remember but I don't like dark chocolates. Hey we can share a box of assorted chocolates some time!

Here I am with my Rosa Regale from Italy! So good with sweets. I *think* this was cocktail #2.

Kathy

I had chicken tenders and fries for lunch, which I should've known, I don't do well with fried foods so much (I'm pretty sure I didn't finish them either as I was eating them they weren't sitting well), I should've stuck with the salads or gotten the soup, live an learn

Just a quick back up to Germany…I know I also had a delectable treat from in the Karmell Kitchen…but I can’t remember anymore what it was? But I know it was good and I ate in all! Also in Germany I took a few pixs of some of the decorated trees in the gift shop…I love the Pickle Tree:

And the Beer tree LOL

In Japan besides my other top secret Mission (stay tuned for at the end of ongoing EP post)… I w/ Kathy, Tracy, Anne Marie and Jess. (RIGHT???) We took on saving Japan from the evil clutches of Dr. Drakken and the Bebes.

This was the first KPM I actually completed…these have proved to be a challenge for my crew of 6 on our trips…usually the 4 kids can’t quite deal w/ the teamwork needed…so I usually sit it out w/ Nathan. So this was a fun treat for me. I think I may take a clue for Amy’s recent trip and try and sign up for two diff KPM and split the kids up.

So here we are trying to determine where the clues led us and having fun looking around the Japan pav. If you have not done this Mission and don’t want to spoil it skip on to the next post…

Hmmm what’s next?

This little pagoda gave us the next clue to…

And then back inside to find this creepy little robot baby:

We saved the day. Whoo-Hoo we really are super Moms! :woohoo:

As we left Japan I received a text from Amy:

“were on a bunch near Moracco”

:lmao: yes I teased her for the rest of the trip on this one...

So while we detoured in Morocco for Tracy to find her something ORANGE…I dragged jess back into the shops for a little fun:

UP next some more fun in Morocco

I have to say, this was only my second KP mission and it was fun; definitely more challenging in the dark!

We were all getting along famously... something I'm sure our husbands/families had been wondering about when we proposed the Moms-Only trip!

OH gawrsh!I'd have never guessed sour candies. Ah well... good to know you didn't have to drink yucky sake!! :lmao:

Yes, Heidi, let's do share some chockies some time! :cloud9:

It's taken me a couple of days to read this whole report. But I've really enjoyed your girls only trip. You all look like you're having such a great time together, that one would think that you are life long friends.

::yes::
Grease is one of my favorite movies!!:goodvibes

I'm sure that at some point my friends and I had it fully memorized! Kind of like... scripting!

We are now! :grouphug:

Thanks, and Welcome!

To catch up, I need to go back to the start of our Epcot afternoon. The ladies have shown you all my pics so I'll just do a quick recap. :thumbsup2 The Beverly tasting was hilarious and now I know what I did to my kids on our Christmas trip! Blech! :rotfl:

In World Showcase, I swung off briefly in Canada in search for something we'll come back to later in the report and then we'd headed over to Mexico where Julie had grabbed her delicious looking margarita. Honestly I don't know why I didn't get one too but that's going in my notes for September! Not wanting to fill up before our Sip and Snack game I grabbed a kids meal at La Cantina -- yummo and just enough. I had so many things I was determined to try!

Next was Norway for Anne Marie's sticky treat and my first taste of the famous school bread. Looking at that selection of yumminess I almost chose something else but I'd come for the school bread and I'm glad I stuck with it!

Moving on to Japan, I loved seeing the acrobats again and noticed that gorgeous ceiling for the first time. I couldn't resist popping in to see the Terra Cotta warriors quickly before heading off to Germany to grab this beauty....

2011_0121Misc0204.jpg

Worth showing again! I couldn't make it through this delicious piece of fudge caramel heaven and had to save half of it for later.

I think the ladies had a bathroom break while I wandered a bit....

2011_0121Misc0206.jpg

... then we saved the world from the freaky robot baby!

Now we've made it to my portion of the sip and snack game in Morocco. I'd been a bit nervous with my "orange" pick but was hoping I'd find something tasty to try. My first walk through Tangierine Cafe didn't have anything jump out at me and I remember getting a little worried I wouldn't find anything. But after a second walk thru I found....

2011_0121Misc0230.jpg

Aha! Now that sounded delicious!!!

2011_0121Misc0231.jpg

Mission accomplished!!

2011_0121Misc0232.jpg

Being late at night and being coffee, I didn't drink it all for fear of blinking up at the ceiling all night, but it was a nice, warm treat. :goodvibes

Heading to France, Kathy and I walked together and decided we were going to get another famous drink... this time a chilled kind!

Any guesses? ;)

It makes me smile to hear that. We, too, have made some fabulous friends through the DIS. :)

The pictures of everyone gathered around the Kim Possible phone are cute. You girls were really in super-sleuth mode!
