I must confess..

I've never seen Spectromagic on any of my trips to the MK but for our Feb trip I scheduled dinner (Crystal Palace) so that I would have about an hour afterwards before Spectro starts.. Can someone share the best places to watch, video tape and photograph the parade. I know I want to watch Wishes this year down Main Street closer to Train Station than the Castle. Spectro is at 8:00 and Wishes at 9:00 so we will probably want to stay in the same general area.

BTW, no I am not doing all 3 myself LOL.. Video camera on a small tripod, and DH with the camera.

Thanks as always

If you are at the train station, SpectroMagic will come out of an area to the right of the firehouse. So if you are in this area, you will be among the first to see it. I have been on ground level and up in the train station balcony and I will admit that being ground level is awesome. You feel closer to the floats. If you want a "bird's eye" view, then be in the train station balcony area. You may want to have one member of your party be on one side of the street and another person across the street, that way you can see the floats on both sides. There is a lot to see on both sides of the floats. Definitely keep your spot for the fireworks. Most people do this. Before the parade check out the area. The floats will make a turn then come straight past the train station and then turn left. You may want to get pictures when the floats are going straight in front of the train station. If you stand where the street curves, then you will also be able to see the back of the floats, especially when Chip and Dale are playing the piano. Also check out YouTube so you can see what the parade is like. Make sure your camera takes great night pictures. I don't know how many blurred SpectroMagic pictures I have...I should have used a tripod.

Enjoy. It is really a great parade to see and worth seeing. I am so excited for you.
