Spectromagic view from Tony's?

We have 6:30 ADRs for Tony's Town Square on a night when Spectromagic is supposed to be at 7:00 and I'm hoping to get a table with a view. How is the view from the outside porch at Tony's? Any recommendations for the best spot to sit? Will we have trouble getting the outside seating (WDW Dining said all we can do is request the location at the podium when we get there)? Any advice is appreciated!

There are only a few tables outside, most of the tables are inside. I think your PS is too late to hope for an outside table. People arriving at 5:30 or 6:00 will wait for them and be there until the parade is over.

DebbieB, thanks for the advice! Guess I'll have to call on Monday and see if I can get anything a tad earlier!

We requested an outside table in April, and the view of the parade was good. The manager kept anyone from hanging out on the steps/ porch who was not a customer.
