Spectromagic schedule week of 4/25

We will arrive in Disney April 25....our flight gets in at 5:20 (Sanford Airport). I was checking out the parade/fireworks schedule for the week and Spectromagic will only be shown on the nght we arrive and I think by the time we get off the plane, make our grocery stop, check in to POR and grab some dinner we might be exhausted and might not make it to the parade. My question is, Is it possible they might add another Spectromagic during the week as the week gets closer? It is my favorite parade and would hate to miss it.

We are in the same boat. Although we get in early that day, I'm afraid we will be too tired to go see it.

I find it odd that they would only have the parade 1 time that whole week.

Have you ever stayed at POR? We stayed there in Nov. 2003 and loved it.

Hi Loops,

Unfortunately, my guess is that they will not add another showing. Two showings are now usually just during busy periods.

Maybe try to get PS at the Liberty Tree for just before the parade will start? That way you'd kill two birds with one stone and not have to worry about eating before the parade.

No, we have never stayed at POR before. We are really excited though. This is only my 2nd visit to WDW and my family's 1st. They really don't know what they are missing if we don't get to see the Spectromagic parade. I do though, so I hope I have the energy to hop over there and catch it that night.

That's a Monday, they usually do not add another show on a weeknight in the off season.

...not for a 2nd show on the Monday night as some seem to have interpreted your msg....but I'm hoping (as I believe you are) for a show on a different night that week!

Typically they've been on Mon, Thursday and Sat nights. We know Sat is a no go due to Grad night....but I'm still hopeful for that Thurs. Or even the following Monday!! It's like they went into a quiet period for 10days before the gala 5/5/05 event!
