My wife is running the Princess Half-Marathon, I was hoping I'd be able to see her when she runs by the TTC, and then again when she runs by the Poly. We are staying at Pop and completely reliant on Disney Transportation. What is the best way for me to get to the TTC in time to see her run by?

you would have to take a bus to either MK or Epcot to get the monorail to TTC but there is a walking path that connects the TTC to the Poly. I agree the quickest direct route to TTC is a taxi

Depending on your wife's starting corral, her actual race start time may be anywhere from 5:0 to 6:30, and depending on her race pace, she could end up at TTC anywhere from 6-7:30 or so.

Relying on Disney transportation, your main option is to take a race bus to Epcot and then monorail to TTC. Buses usually run between 3-5 am, with runners suggested to be on board by 4. Buses stop running between 5-7 and start again at 7. With this in mind, get on a bus between 4-5. If you get to TTC very early, you could always walk to Poly and get a coffee.

The only other alternative would be to take a cab directly to TTC. Road restrictions will be in place, so allow extra time to get there--and have the driver take a left out of Pop, up to Osceola Parkway, take a right on Osceola up to World Drive and right onto Wolrd Drive to MK/TTC.

i would take the bus to epcot and then take the monorail to TTC. you don't want to get stuck in a cab with a driver that may not know about all the road blocks, etc.

last year i cheered for the wdw half and took the bus to the monorail and then took the monorail to the grand floridian. depending on your wife's pace you may only be able to see her once. outside the grand floridian was a great place to cheer because there weren't too many people there and your wife can spot you fairly easily. plus their cafe was open for coffee and a really delicious cup of oatmeal ;) just another option!

Agreed that the best way is to ride the bus to the start with her then leave for the TTC once she moves to the corrals. Note that the Poly will be separated from the race by a lane of traffic. Move to the Exit end of G Floridian Parking to avoid that lane of traffic. The other alternative is to move further down race course along the MK parking lot to get past that fenced and coned off section.

If one want to sleep in some, then the cab is not a bad option. The driver will need to go..

Victory Lane to
Bonnett Creek to
Vista to World to
Seven Seas.

The stretch as he nears seven seas may slow up.
