Spectacle of Pins event at MGM on Dec 7

Just saw this on the dizpins front page. Anyone have any details on this event?

All I heard (from the artists them selfs) is that the pins they are working on are the houses on the back lot with all the lights on them from the Osbourne Lights. So my guess is it is an
MGM event...
