Specifying which Snacks for Snack Credits

If a person is ordering several items that can be charged to one's snack credits, can one identify which snacks to charge to the credits and which snacks one is willing to pay for?

For example: Ordering: 1 Pretzel, 1 order of cheese sauce

I want to use my snack credits for the pretzel, but I want to pay OOP for the cheese sauce.

Can I do this?

Hi yes you are perfectly able to do this, since at most Breakfast times we have bought a QS and then added a bowl of fruit plus a muffin and only paid for the muffin, thus using the snack credit for the Fruit! If that makes sense?? Or we have bought the kids ice cream and a few drinks and used snack credits for ice cream but bought the drinks etc, They will just ask you if you want to use your snack credits or pay for the item and they normally ask you this with every item you are entitled to on the DDP! as they understand alot of people want to do it this way and pay for some of the items instead of using credits for $2 items

And if they don't ask, or right as you put your stuff on the counter, you can just say, "I'd like to pay for the cheese and use a credit for the pretzel".

Just make sure you check your receipt. They have been known to make mistakes when doing this.

Good question, I had the same thought awhile back. Using a snack credit for cheese sauce would be nuts!

I usually divided the stuff into piles on the counter -- "I'd like to use three snack credits for the pastries, but pay for the milk separately," or whatever.

Yes, it is very easy to do. Just make sure you explain exactly what you want to use your snack credits for and what you are paying for. On two occasions last year (at Mainstreet Bakery and Starring Rolls) I used my snack credit for a pastry and payed OOP for a bottle of water.

Always check your receipt to make sure you have been charged correctly.
