Specific Y.E.S. ticket question

I purchased 8 day premium tickets for our Feb trip. We will be there 9 days. Our YES class is scheduled for our first day so we have to begin using the tickets on day one. We had planned on taking a day off in the middle of the vacation Do the tickets expire 8 days from the first day we use them or can we take a day off from the parks in the middle of the vacation as we had planned? I hope this is clear TIA

"Tickets are valid for theme park admission beginning with your indicated Arrival Date and for 7 days after your indicated Departure Date."
