Specific question for DDE users

I noticed in the description you can get parking validated. Is it easy? If I have lunch at the Tusker House at AK, can I just present receipt from lunch and parking at AK guest services as I leave to get reimbursement? Who has done this, any problems? Seems like I would have a time limit in the park so they would reimburse only if dining and NOT visiting the park. I've read the info on allears site, more curious about actual experience of DDE users. Thanks!

I haven't tried this because I park free with an AP, but just want to bump this up for you. The DDE card is great!

Any seasonal passholders with DDE that have tried validating parking?

I could be wrong on this, but here it goes. The DDE is for parking if you are eating at a hotel only. When we leave the hotel we show them the card and everything except the tip is taken care of. It does not cover the fee to go into the parks. You need to have a pass to get that cover, i.e. Annual passes.

to be on the safe side give them a a call and have them explain it to you.

Since I have an Annual pass I get my entrance into the parks covered and the DDE for rest. in the hotels.

I forgot my husband now shows it when we entered the valet area of the parking lot I don't know why but wither way works

Sorry to say everyone is correct the free parking does not apply to the parks. The priviledge is free Valet parking at the resorts.

The parking is for valet at the resort...it becomes free if you have a meal at that resort. You must take your receipt from your meal (sit down restaurant..valid on the dde list) to bell services with your card and ID..when you have your car brought back around.

Never tried it in the park..don't even remember that being mentioned on the instructional letter.

This comes from a familiar site regarding DDE but it doesn't seem like many have experience with it.........

Prior to 5pm, parking reimbursement is available when dining at a Park restaurant by presenting your dining and parking receipt at Guest Relations.
