Specific Character Pins at WDW!

Hi! I'm going to WDW for the first time next year, and I'm just wondering how common/rare it is to find certain characters on other people's/Cast Member's Lanyards. I started pin trading at DLRP, with a lanyard and 4 pin set featuring Jessica Rabbit. My collection has grown a lot since then, but it isn't huge, as I try to stick to obtaining pins solely of characters that I love.

I was just wondering if I'll be able to get pins of my fave characters from other people, or maybe in the shops at WDW. Here's my top 5 fave Disney characters who I'm hoping to get pins of;

1. Cheshire Cat (Alice in Wonderland)
2. Scar (The Lion King)
3. Gaston (Beauty and the Beast)
4. Chernabog (Fantasia)
5. Zero (The Nightmare Before Christmas)

As well as those, there's certain characters that I'd just love to have more pins of. They include;

Jessica Rabbit (Who Framed Roger Rabbit)
Shere Khan (The Jungle Book)
Mrs Jumbo (Dumbo)
Ratigan (Basil the Great Mouse Detective)
Monstro (Pinocchio)
Mufasa (The Lion King)

Having searched through PinPics, I know that some of these characters have hardly any pins featuring them, which is why I'm eager to find out if I'll be able to track any of them down at WDW.

PS. Does anyone know if pins from the Disney Store here in the UK are accepted by Cast Members at WDW?

You never know what you'll find on a lanyard. Of your top 5, Zero and Chernabog are most likely, then Cheshire Cat. Doubtful about Scar and Gaston.

Yes, pins from the UK Disney Stores are tradeable, so long as they have the Disney copyright on the back and the CM doesn't have one on their lanyard, which is a good probability.

Like Daber said, you never know what you will find on a lanyard.
But you can find most of the characters you list in pin shops. The thing to remember is a lot of the stores and carts have different pins than each other, so check around at various places

I have not seen a lot of your top five pins around but look cause it could show up and you never know what pins disney will come out with next

Exactly how popular is Pin Trading at WDW? At DLRP, it's not really as popular with other guests. I feel a bit silly wearing my lanyard sometimes, because not many other guests have them.

Yes, I felt that way at DLPR. I had on my pin trading vest and lanyard and only one person wanted to trade...and it was a very lopside trade.

PinTrading is not what it was at WDW a few years ago, but definitely way better than DLPR. You won't be the only one wearing a lanyard and there are plenty of people to meet at the various spots that sell pins all around the property.

daber - It's a shame really that Pin Trading hasn't taken off as much at DLRP as it has done elsewhere. DLRP has some beautiful pins. Nevermind though, at least I have Pin Trading at WDW to look forward to.
