specialty drinks??? pirate punch on dining plan??

I was wondering what kind of speciallty drinks you can order while being on the DDP. I know that you can not order alcholic drinks but i was wondering if you could get smoothies and drinks like the pirate punch at the coral reef on the dinning plan or does it cost extra?? What other kinds of drinks have you got other than the normal pop and coffee to drink

Almost everywhere will only allow Coffee, Milk, Soda, Juice on the DDP or DxDDP. I have never heard of Pirate's Punch being covered by either plan.

Some known exceptions are:

50's Prime Time Cafe - One Milkshake is allowed as a substitute for your beverage on the DDP

WCC - Bottomless Milkshake is allowed as a substitute for your beverage on the DDP.


There may be more milkshake exceptions, possibly even a smoothie exception - just none that I have heard of.

Last yr we pd OOP at Whispering Canyon for what I believe was pirate punch for DD in a souvenir cup with light up tinkerbell.

We had pirate punch at Garden Grill and it was included. Also, had milkshake at Whispering Canyon Cafe and it was also included. In fact, my kids had 2!

We had a special strwberry drink at coarl Reef, milk shakes at wcc, offered smoothies atLe Cellier.

I have had milkshakes as mentioned above, but I was told no when I asked about the Pirate Punch.

My son had a pirate's punch w/o the light as DDP drink. At coral reef, I got an apple sour freeze. We all had smoothies in Le Cellier. YUMMM

We ordered the Pirates Punch at Coral Reef last year and it was not included on the plan, had to pay extra.

My son wanted the drink without the light, so it was included as part of the DDP. The drink didn't come with the plastic pirate cup, in this case.

We never think to ask for specialty drinks but a couple of years ago our server at 'Ohana offered our kids smoothies on the DP.
