Specialty Cruise-Wishes?

What does this cruise entail? We have been on the Illuminations cruise, but not the wishes cruise. Illuminations cruise last year was awesome.

Anyone have any info?

You will board your pontoon boat approximately 40 minutes before the scheduled presentation. You will cruise around Bay Lake, the resorts, and if your lucky see the Electric Water Pageant prior to Wishes. Then your driver will park somewhere in Seven Seas Lagoon, directly in front of Main Street USA.
He/she will try to keep the boat positioned for a clear view. You will hear only some of the music and narration, depending on the way the wind is blowing (the boats are not equipped with any sort of speakers). But, the view, with the Castle centered is unsurpassed.
Afterwords, your driver may finish touring the area before returning you back to the dock.
Most of the drivers are well versed in the area and Disney Facts and Figures (even some trivia) and they will chat as much as you want them to.
Remember you rent the entire boat for the $120.00 charge, so if it's two people or 11 people its a flat rate (the is not grat included for the driver).
They will cover the seats with towels and also provide blankets on chilly nights.
All in all, it is a very relaxing end to a busy day.

We just did this in December. You can be picked up at the Poly, Wilderness lodge, Contempary resort, or the Grand Floridian. We have taken it 3 times from the Contempary. And once from the Poly. The Contempary was by far better, It is all the same boats and crew they float them to the other resorts. for example in August our boat came from Wilderness lodge but we took it from the Contempary resort. You will be picked up about an hour/45 min before and go around Bay Lake. They will discuss Hotel trivia info with you on your ride. You will go around past Wilderness lodge and over the water bridge and moor infront of the castle. Also everytime we left the Contempary we had a full view of the Electrical water parade. up close!!! Music and all. On the Poly cruise we did not see more than 3 of the barges and we had come in on the wrong end to really see it all. It was a big letdown for my kids. I am not sure if its the route they take from the Poly if it puts you in the wrong position to View but it was very dissapointing. I would recommend taking it from The Contempary. FYI.. You can call back and request to take it out of any hotel. They will bring the boat to you!!! Its the best 125 I have ever spent on property!
