speciality cruise & fireworks

Hi,

Has anyone done a speciality cruise to watch the fireworks at The Magic Kingdom ?

It's my Moms' 60th birthday next May whilst we are at OKW and I thought it may be a nice surprise if we did a birthday cruise to watch the fireworks.

Has anyone experienced this ? Or any other suggestions for a special birthday surprise ?

yes, we were there at easter and we stayed at the BCV & POLY.
we took the fireworks cruise from the POLY, i believe it was $116-120. plus tip. we went out on the water before the firworks and took a ride over to the WL came back and set right in front of the MK. even though we didnt have pipe in music, we could hear the music from the MK and from one of the pirate boats. the fireworks were great, i like the fireworks from the cruise instead of standing inside the MK, a whole different experince. i booked another MK "wishes"fireworks cruise for our magical gathering on christmas night, i hope its not to cold out on the water.
this time i am bringing the wishes music with & a cd player, dsis and i bought it when we where home for the members homecoming.

you have to book at least 90 days out, especially the illuminations cruise, those are always gone first.

We did one with friends last year. It was great!

we did a fireworks cruise from the Contemporary dock and had a lot of fun. First they do the light show on the water (I forget what they call that, then you chug over in front of MK and watch the fireworks. We shared our boat with a family from the UK and it was great.
