Hi, Im heading to WDW on Thanksgiving for 6 nights. I read on a web site that starting on Nov. 29th, the character breakfast with Donald at breakfastosauras is a special christmas edition that runs through Jan. I booked it for the 29th, but the reservation lady said she didnt see it noted that it was a special one for christmas. I was wondering , has anyone heard of this in the past? Or has anyone done it?? THanks!!

We were there on Thanksgiving and the first week of December last year, and they weren't doing anything special for the breakfast.

:( Awwwww

I wonder why it says that on that web site then!! Since you were there last year on thanksgiving, can you tell me what parks, if any were open later than usual? which parks were most crowded?? thanks!!

I've heard that the Christmas Breakfast at AK is new this year. It should be happening, but not a lot is known about it.

I read about this also. I can't believe the CMs have been able to the info about this under wraps.:D

I was able to get an early PS for Nov. 29, I'm really looking forward to it. I wish a CM would let some of the details "slip".

We made our PS for the special Christmas breakfast at Donald's on Dec.1,at which time the CM did confirm that it will be Santa Goofy, with the other characters in Christmas attire.I forgot to ask about any special Christmas Menu items though..Hmmmmmm???

i made a ps today for the donald breakfast. i too heard that it was a special xmas breakfast (i think from deb's site). it never occurred to me to ask the cm when i made the ps. i sure hope there is something special about it!

dinseyjunkie.. Im staying at all star sports from Nov. 28th- Dec 4th!!! I also got an early PS for the christmas breakfast on the 29th. Ours is at 9am! I am glad that others heard of this and at least one CM let some info slip!! I think this will be great fun!

be at that time of year??? I am just wondering if I should book a little later & do the main rides earlier. I am planning for a big group & not sure if everyone could make it up for first seating (is it 9am???)

The earliest seating is before 9 am. I'm guessing that it's probably at 8 am, because I have Dec. 2nd booked for 8:10. I'm thinking of calling back and trying for a later time. We just got back this weekend and found that since we have been so many times, we no longer like forcing ourselves out of the bed so early to get ready and rush to make an early PS. We had a much better day the day we slept in and had a late breakfast. JMO I would agree that it would probably be difficult to get a large group all together early, but have also found that if you go too late that the food isn't usually as fresh. I personally am going to try for around 9:30.

AK is SUPPOSED to open at 8. We were there in Jan. and I dont think they were opening any of the parks on time. They were all about an hour later. Since November hours arent posted yet, You should try for maybe an early breakfast like at 8, and if it doesnt open until 9, you will be there right as the park opens. But if the park opens earlier. it would be better to get there and get some of the main rides done and eat between 9-30. Make 2 reservations and just cancel one when the Nov. hours come out.

I made our Dec.1 PS for 9:30am.Hoping that the park will at least be open by 8:30am, our plans were to try and hit the main DinoLand attractions, before we eat.Since alot of the rides there are either spinning, bouncing,or very jerky we thought that would be best done not on a full stomach!:bounce:

This is very exciting!! We have a PS for Dec 2nd at 8:20!!

Most likely for the time you'll be there the AK will probably open at 9:00am (Of course hours aren't out yet and I could be wrong). The last time we ate at Donald's we had a PS for 8:10am and we were done just before 9:00am and we were the first to ride Dinosaur. You may want to get an earlier PS. Just my suggestion. ;)

We'll be going for the holidays and I like the idea of having some special meals at the parks especially early breakfast before the parks officially open.

I've never done breakfast at the parks and I'm confused about how you get in for an early PS before the park opens. Do you have something to show the park you belong there early before the park opens? Is there a special place at the park you go to to get in for breakfast? I would be standing in the regular line to get into the park thinking this is the right thing to do while I'm missing my PS breakfast.

Please help.

First PLEASE lots of people go to this special Christmas breakfast this year because we can't go this year but will be there for Christmas next year and I want it to come back!!

Now for the early PS. Last year ,and I imagine this year unless it is Christmas week, AK opened at 9:00. It might open at 8:00 Chirstmas week. We had a 8:10 Ps for BK. It was the first PS of the day. We took the early character bus from our onsite resort to AK. If you drive you would park in the regular parking lot and I don't think it would be overly crowded an hour before opening. When you get to the gate there is a large sign over the waiting area for PS breakfast guest. We were early and had to wait quite a little while but it was a pleasant wait. About 8:00 a Cm came and checked us in. Be sure to take you PS number. They called a small group of families and escorted us to the resturant. WE got our picture made and then inside by 8:15. WE enjoyed the meal and we finished by 9:00 and we too were the first on dinosaur that AM. It was a perfect plan and our favorite way to start our day at the any of the parks.

After reading the posts here, I went and changed our ressie from 9 to 8:20. At least we will be done eating when the park is just opening up. I asked again about whether this was a speacial christmas breakfast and she told me that she doesnt see where its noted that its for christmas. But, she wanted to know WHERE I heard that it was. I really hope it is a special one!! that would be so different and great!
