Special Way to say Thanks

Yes, I'm booking it through Happy Limo. When my husband saw it he said we had to surprise everyone with it!


We'll either be splitting the transportation 3 ways or my parents will cover it. I will just tell them the total as if we were using the van and towncar like they think we are, and then we'll just pay the difference between that and the stretch Hummer.

Being the family "Disney Expert" (or "Disney Nut" as they say when I'm not around ) it's easy to plan these surprises!

I've been thinking about booking an Illuminations Cruise as my dad really loves Illuminations, but I'm also thinking about the Fireworks Cruise (outside MK). Do you recall the cost of the Illuminations cruise and how many people they can accomodate? Besides celebrating my dad's retirement we'll be in the World for my mom's 65th birthday and retirement. I really want to do something special for them. I know I have a whole year to think about this, but the planning and anticipation are half the fun!

The pontoon boats for Illuminations and Wishes hold 12 people--that includes children under 3. I believe the Grand Gathering Wishes cruise holds more people but Im not sure how many..

Cruises for fireworks are OK.. But I vote for Jane & the Pixies at Gifts of a Lifetime. They did a wonderful event for my 17 year old who declared it would be her last "family vacation" as a little kid.

They followed us around Epcot and arranged special treats & fun then provided us with 4 rolls of pictures of our adventure.

you can tailor it to showcase just them and let them know how special they are. (as opposed to a great big event for the whole group). This should be a special thank you for them, not just another event for the whole big crew.


I have visions of random pixies coming up and telling them how great they are and giving them little gifts and surprises. And that Mickey knows all about it and wants them to have a special day.
