Special touches at DL hotel

Hey

So we are going days before my daughters 4th birthday. I know about the celebration gifts they can put in your room which I'm thinking about doing depending on the cost but has anyone had any additional things added to the room to just sprinkle a little extra pixie dust? Any ideas or suggestions are welcome I'm excited to make this special for her!

Did you tell the hotel it's her birthday when you made the reservation? They may have something small for her when you arrive. If you didn't mention it at check in.

Here are a few ideas if you are able to bring things with you and set them up yourself.

-Happy Birthday banner
-mickey confetti
-streamers
-a card from fav character
-window clings (birthday and Disney related)
-balloons (helium or not)
-washable window paint

-PreBirthday Disney treat bag: small water, snacks, small plush, t-shirt, glow sticks, lanyard for pins/ID, activity book, crayons, hat, sunglasses, magic washcloth, beach towel, new Disney DVD, maybe even a princess dress if she's into that.


If you go to your local party store they usually have classic Disney as well as princess and cars relatied party supplies coming out the wazzo. I also like to raid the target dollar bins, craft store dollar bins and dollar stores for all kinds of fun Disney themed trinkets for kids. You could get a lots things to make a family party in the hotel room or just a couple things to make a personalized gift basket for her.
