The Disneyland Resort "Resident Salute" ticket offer this year offers the opportunity to explore both theme parks at the Resort. Southern California residents can purchase a special ticket offering one day's admission to Disneyland park and one day's admission to Disney's California Adventure park for the price of a one-day ticket. "Resident Salute," a tradition at the Resort for more than a decade, allows guests to purchase up to five special tickets per day with proof of Southern California residency (Zip Codes 90000 through 93599). This year's "Resident Salute," in effect January 6 through May 14, 2003, is available to guests 10 years and older for $47 and to guests 3 to 9 years for $37. One day's admission must be used on the date of purchase and the other must be used by May 14, 2003. "Resident Salute" has been offered periodically since 1991.

Just FYI. :)

Do you know if you can use the tickets in the same day, say the morning at DL, then the afternoon at DCA? Or would you have to go on two separate days? I have relatives in SoCal but think they would only go for one day total during that time period (they are not fanatics). Thanks for the information.

No, they don't allow you to visit both parks in one day, the fine print says that the park visits cannot be on the same day. Sorry!
