MousePlanet is reporting that there will be a special opportunity for Guests to view several of the offerings for the Summer Nightastic! Special Event at the Disneyland Resort before the start of the Special Event on 12 June 2009.
Guests are invited to watch a Preview of the Special Event Fireworks Spectacular, Magical – Disney's New Nighttime Spectacular of Magical Celebrations In the Stars on 11 June 2009 at 8:45 PM.
In addition, there will be a Preview of Fantasmic! at 9:15 PM. Fantasmic! is being updated for the Special Event with all new Magic, including Flotsam and Jetsam, Ursula's two eels; as well as a new 40-foot dragon. This is a unpublished Preview, and is currently not being displayed in Disneyland Resort Entertainment Times Guides, or on Disneyland.com.
Fantasmic! Premium Viewing will be available for this performance. Please contact Disney Dining on (714) 781-DINE to book tickets.
Disneyland Park will close at 9:00 PM on 11 June. Guests already in the Park will be permitted to stay and enjoy the Fantasmic! Preview. However, all Guests will be escorted out immediately afterward, in order to allow for preperations for the Grad Nite 2009 event taking place later that evening.
Both shows will have their formal debuts the following day. Magical – Disney's New Nighttime Spectacular of Magical Celebrations In the Stars will be presented at 9:25 PM in the skies over Disneyland Park. Fantasmic! will be presented at 9:00 PM and 10:30 PM along the Rivers of America in Frontierland at Disneyland Park.
