I just saw this while looking at the park hours on Disneyland.com. Just an FYI for people who are going to be in the parks during these times.

On the following dates, Space Mountain will be opening at 10:00am:

July 11, 13, 18, 20, and 25.

On the following dates, Space Mountain will be closing at 10:00pm:

July 10, 12, 17, 19, 24, 26, and 27.

It's interesting that they have these reduced hours. I wonder what they are doing at night that they need 4-5 extra hours for?

Someone had said in another thread that it requires extra maintenance. I notice that they aren't scheduling late openings on MM! That's good to see!

I think it's interesting too but at least they aren't closing it for full days. This will just take some rearranging of schedules for those who like to do it first thing.

Thanks. We will be there the 25. Was going to do ST and then do Space but, guess we will do buzz first and possibly Autopia if time.

I will be there during this time. I am happy its not completely closed. I love roller coasters! I was already disappointed about the Matterhorn being closed.

It's not going to be closed... just slightly reduced hours.

I know, but its usually the first ride i do in the morning, and now it will be closed 2 of the mornings i am there. That and the Matterhorn is closed the whole time. :/

Good thing you will have Star Tours. :)

What would be my biggest concern about this is how many people will be in the FP return line at night, I don't want to imagine how many people will be going there after F! and Magical.

I wasnt a huge fan of the old star tours, i want to try the new one but theres no way i'll wait 2 hours for it ;)

But yes, there are going to be a million people in line after Fantasmic! and the fireworks... maybe that just means shorter lines for everything else though ;)
