Special Spa Options?

Does anyone happen to know if the spa has employes trained in massage and pregnancy? Do they have any special treatments? If so, I'm not finding them anywhere. TIA!!

Yes they do. They have a special pregnancy massage (I had one when I cruised pregnant with my son.)

I just looked through the spa list and don't see it listed, but I do know that they offer it.

Thank you so much! Do you happen to remember what type of massage it was (full body, back, etc)? Is the price around the same as "normal" massages?

If you tell the therapist you are pregnant they will make appropriate adjustments for a "normal" massage. I had the aromatherapy massage and made sure to note on the health form that I was pregnant as well as verbally telling the therapist. There are some oils they won't use if you're pregnant, extra pillows and different positions they will use, but it wasn't something that was charged differently from the standard massages on the menu! It was heavenly - highly recommend it!

It was definitely the same price, and they offer the same choices--they just do it differently for you if you are pregnant. They will do everything they can to make you comfortable and they cannot use some of the oils/scents if you are pregnant (lavendar comes to mind.)

Just let the therapist know you are pregnant and they will take care of you.
