Special room cleaning?

Hi!
We'll be arriving the 1st week in Dec, staying at WL. Our son is *horribly* allergic to dust mites and asthmatic. Will they specially clean the room, if we request it beforehand? Has anyone had this done?

Yup! Attach a request for a VIP cleaning to your resort reservation. It makes a huge difference for us.

Be aware that it does limit your ability to request to be moved to a different location when you arrive should you be displeased with your location. For us it's worth it (we only book resorts where we'll either be happy in any area or we can pay to be in a specific area where we'll be happy).

We get this and it is wonderful, call now and let them know that you need the VIP cleaning and a new air filter. You might also consider asking them to put a plastic pad ( it's like the ones you use when you have a bed wetter) on the bed to limit the exposure to dust mites that may be inside the mattress. When you get to your room, the best way to tell if the cleaning has been done correctly is to check behind the TV. There should be no dust, but if there is call housekeeping and they will send someone up to take care of it.
