I just read at www.wdwinformation.com that disney has just released a special rate of $204 and $254 per night in a studio at saratoga springs for stays until 4/10/08.

Is that the DVC members' offer for friends and family? I just got an email with the offer to share. There's a code associated with it and the person booking must give CRO the name of the member. I wasn't that moved by it since that is the same rate as the AP discount, but, of course, if you don't have an AP it's a good offer. I think the savings is $111 a night. It can be used for 5 reservations per member.

The number of rooms allocated for these offers is limited. Savings based on the non-discounted price for the same room. No group rates or other discounts apply. Advance reservations required and must be made by March 7, 2008. Friends and family will need to provide the Member's name and home state or country at time reservation is made. Limited to 5 reservations per Member household.
