Can anyone tell me who I would email/call to add a special request for my son's birthday? He will be turning into a teenager at Disney this summer, that's right 13!!! What better place than Disneyworld to celebrate that??

It would help if you can tell us what you want to do. There's a long cake thread on the dining board with the phone number for ordering a special cake. Disney Florists offers a number of in-room packages that can be ordered. There are also sports activities and the Richard Petty Driving Experience that can be reserved, just to name a few.

If you are staying on property, call Disney reservstions and ask them to add birthday celebration to all your adrs. You can also have something waiting in your room when you get there. The CMs are great and will make your sons day as magical as possible

There are lots of things you can spend a lot of money on, such as custom cakes, in-room decorations, gift baskets, etc. Not sure what your budget is.

No matter what, tell every single person you come in contact with (reservations Cast Members, hotel front desk, waiters, hostesses, etc.) that you're celebrating your son's birthday. Get him a birthday button - they're free.

There is no guarantee that CM's will do something for a birthday, but my experience is it certainly doesn't hurt to let them know. We've celebrated many birthdays at Disney and CM's have always done something special.

You can also have something waiting in your room when you get there.

Only at club level will CMs put something in the room prior to your arrival. For any other room there is no guarantee which room will be yours until you actually arrive and check in. Even though rooms are assigned in advance there are always day of room changes if someone wants a different room.

Have your son wear his birthday button and he'll get birthday greetings from many CMs and other visitors. At TS restaurants note it on the reservation and let your server know. While there's no guarantee that his birthday will be celebrated at some restaurants we've had birthday cupcakes, special desserts, confetti, cards and champagne (for an anniversary) while at others there was no acknowledgement at all.
