What locations offer the Annual passholder pins and Visa card holder pins etc etc around DL?????? What are the best spots in general to get pins ? Thanks!

Bumping for someone else to answer this. I would like to know the answer, I didn't know there were AP pins except for dining.

Yes, APers and Visa holders get to buy special pins that the "regular" public can't buy. :) We love to get those, they make amazingly good traders. :) You can see them in the pin shop in Frontierland and in PT Flea. We usually get ours at PT. Oh they are in the pin store in DTD as well. :)

We're huge pin collectors. Every trip, we fill up a lanyard as a way to remember each individual trip. From what I can tell, most all of the bigger pin stores carry the AP and VISA holder pins in both DL and DCA. I never saw them at the pin carts.

It's funny. We get asked if we're AP holders all the time due to the lanyards we wear. One time we saw an AP pin that we liked, not knowing it was for AP holders only. We asked to see it, liked it and then was asked if we wanted to buy it. They must have assumed again, because she didn't ask if we were AP holders and we got out of there with the AP pin.

I felt so bad.

Well, not really.

lol i never knew that there are AP and VISA exclusive pins! I'll have to check those out for when I become an AP in july:idea:

Usually the AP pins are on display behind the counter or some place similar. At least that was the way it was done in November. So yes, you have to ask the CM to get them.

They're always behind the counter or in a glass case. Being non AP holders, if we can't get them we just go on Ebay when we get back and buy them that way.

Now the D23 pins, we've been able to stock up on. They're going for CRAZY amounts of money on ebay lately. Some upwards to $200.

All the above it correct, I just wanted to add that I have always gotten ours at Little Green Men Store in Tomorrowland.

There is usually a limited to how many you can buy and they are only available while supplies last as they are limited in quantity.

I've been an AP holder for almost a year and I seriously had no idea about this. Thanks guys! :)

my AP pin for christmas is beautiful!:lovestruc

You can get them at the actual pin stores but not at the carts. You don't have to ask to see them, they should have a display out showing what they are at the time. You do have to ask to buy them and you are supposed to show proof you are a Visa or AP holder. :) We get these regularly, like I said, they make great traders!

Hey

I bought a D23 pin whilst i visited DL in March it was in plastic unlike the rest of the pins and just hanging up with the rest as well.

It was says made for you and me with Mickey on it then the D23 hangs down off the pin.

Are these hard to get?

the pin shop in Frontierland is the ONLY place we could find the Visa pin last trip. Everybody else looked at us like we were crazy. In fact, we spent a good chunk of time trying to find that pin.

So are the AP and VISA pins different? How often do they change? And what are the AP dining pins?

The AP and the Visa are different. There is a new one each month. The AP dining pins are another different pin.

AP Dining Pins:
- each month is a new pin
- available only while supplies last (they DO run out)
- must spend $30 on F/B at specific food locations
- must have an AP to receive

Here is the Dining GWP pin for 2/2009:
