I have seen some people with photos with Tinkerbell on their hands, do you know what to ask for if you want this? Please don't tell me it is just WDW. also we had the one with Stich coming out of the hat last year, do you know if there are any others? Can anybody show me examples.

I am living in hope that they introduce photopass to DL in the next two months, is this wishful thinking or am I somewhere over a rainbow?

I was in Disneyland in June and have a picture of us "Holding" Tink in our hands. The pictures are taken on main street. Our photographer suggested it to us, but if you ask, I am sure they will do it.

When we were in Disneyland in January, we had our picture taken in front of the castle. They took a couple regular shots and then had us hold out our hands and took a couple like that. When we went to see the pictures, they had put Tinkerbell in our hands.

We also had our picture taken at California Adventure by the Golden Gate Bridge. They again took a couple regular shots and then had us point at the ground and look suprised. They put Stitch in those photos.

I don't think you need to ask for anything special, they just do it for you.

I think all the photographers will offer it, they will do Tinkerbell shots at Disneyland and Stitch coming out of the ground shots at California Adventures. They can also add borders around the picture.

Also when we went to visit Mickey and Minnie in their houses, they have a photographer on hand to take a photo and when I picked one up I noticed they added an autograph (computer generated) in the corner of the photo, which I thought was really cute.

We had one taken outside Main Street Station with Tinkerbell in our hands and its a lovely photo. We also had one taken outside the castle but my daughter had her eyes shut!!!
Love Ella

Thats cool if they do it without asking, I definitely want this one, my dd desperately wants to see Tinkerbell, and I have had to tell her she is too small, hopefully a photo would make up for it

While there are no opprotunties to meet Tink, you'll definetely see her--she's on the first float in the Parade of Dreams and she makes her flights during the fireworks.

These sound really cute, thank you for posting!

You can see Tinkerbell during the fireworks show, she flys from the Matterhorn to the Castle. She pops to full size person for the fireworks.

She's a full sized person for the parade, too. Must be a special pixie-dust power.

My strong suggestion is, do photos your first day...and purchase them that day. I didn't want to mess with the lines, so I waited until our second day to pick up the photos.

The CM in the photo shop asked who did them, looked on the ticket, and said she was reporting that person because our photos were so horribly composed. As it was, we didn't have the time to do a second set.

If you have more than one kid, I'd suggest asking for multiple pictures so only one person is "holding" Tink in each photo.

Our pic at CA is much better. I just chose the CA logo and the date...no Stitch.

A warning: unlike WDW, you can only get your pics while you are at DL and CA...and only for the number of days specified on the ticket they give you. I was bummed when I got home and realized I couldn't go back and look at our photos online or order extras.

We had dd's picture with tinkerbell in front of the castle and it turned out sooo cute, she loved it but there was a very odd looking person in the background, creepy actually! We wanted to buy the picture but I didn't want to spend years looking at this creepy guy-lol.

Finally, the CM in the photo pickup place on Main Street said she could crop the photo! SO we ended up with a really cute close up pic of dd holding tinkerbell in front of the castle with no strange stranger! So if you don't like any of your pics, remember they CAN crop it and move it around although they don't readily volunteer this info.

Thanks for all the replies, fiona will be delighted that she can actually see tinkerbell, I had rather put her off expecting to see her. All the tips are great, I'm not usually interested in the expensive photos on offer but as we are just going to be the 2 of us it is nice to get a couple of photos together (not that I like to look at photos of myself, but my daughter likes us to be in photos together)

Does anyone have scans of the Tinkerbell or Stitch pictures that they can post? I'm curious to see how they look, since that's something I'll want to get during my honeymoon with the wife next year.
