"Special" Photopass Pics

We are going soon and will not be doing Memory Maker this time.

I like to buy the special - added character - pictures from photopass when they are available.

Since we haven't been in many years, I'm wondering what special pictures I can ask for - what park and what area of the park?

I assume you are referring to Magic Shots?

It varies, but you can usually get them in all of the parks in various places. Look for PhotoPass Photographers NOT using a tripod and ask.

Keep in mind if you buy 11 pictures you might as well buy MM. We got o er that in ride pictures alone then add the 300 mm shots we got we definitely our money's worth.

When I was in the front of Hollywood Studios, I found a sweetheart of a photopass photographer who took several magic shots with me. It wasn't busy which I think was why she could do it. I don't know if the shots are available anymore since this was a few years ago.

In MK back by the wall near BOG, there was a photopass photographer who took a magic shot of me and closer to Ariels ride was one who could do magic shots too. Both were only there in the morning I noticed.

A friend of mine told me there was a photopass photographer on the bridge between the hub and tomorrowland who could do a magic shot or two but I've never seen anyone there - I think my timing was off.
And on main street in MK - many of the photographers can do a magic shot.

In Epcot back in World Showcase, I've come across one who could do a photopass magic shot but they were only there for a few hours early in the day (between 11am and 2pm was when I saw her). I don't know if anyone will be there during F&W Festival since it gets so crowded in World Showcase then.

In AK, the person without a tripod on the way to the Tree of Life did a magic shot of me in April 2015 that I like. And the main walkway in the back of the park between Asia and Africa, there was a photopass person without a tripod doing a magic shot too.

Basically I'd ask any photopass photographer without a tripod if they can do them. They are fun. I'm purposely not saying what the magic shots were so you can be surprised if you get them.

MM was our best purchase on our last vacation, dozens of Magic Shots of my family at every park near almost everything, plus dozens of character meet and greets, some restaurant and ride pics too. We just asked the photographers, almost all of them had something there were repeats throughout the parks but definitely worth the extra money. I would have spent triple, probably more then the MM price on all the fantastic memories we got.
