Special ordering a birthday cake at California Grill

Monday we're celebrating dd's birthday at California Grill. We want to special order a small cake for our desert. Who do I call? I thought I read here that I should call the restaurant directly, but when I do I get dumped to voice mail. I did leave a message Friday but it has not been returned. Is this the right place to call? I might try calling in the late afternoon / evening next when I have a chance of reaching someone. Any suggestions are welcome.

You might want to try calling WDW dining and ask where you should call.

I made a PS yeserterday at 'Ohana's for my mothers birthday and the CM gave me a number to call 48 hrs. prior to make arrangements for a birthday cake. I called the number and it was the Poly's room service line - so maybe you would have to call the Contemporary's room service directly ??? We are staying at the Poly too, so maybe that's why he gave me that number.
