The lady that posted yesterday, said she booked for this Thursday. I think you had to be in Seaworld to get the offer. Im guessing it must be really quiet at DC at the moment for them to put out an offer like that.

This is what I am thinking.....That there is a special being run at SeaWorld and you had to buy it then and there to do it. I hope the original poster comes back and tells us. I would have a huge party of 18 interested in going.

That is an amazing offer. I'm guessing you guys are right that you had to be at Sea World and it is because they are not busy. Now, I am wondering if they do this at other times when they are slow. We are going at the end of August and I would love to go a second day just to snorkel and at that price I would do it. I am definitely going to ask when I am at Sea World. LOl!

Ive found the FB Group and the lady who posted about the offer has just posted this

"Yesterday was Discovery cove we offered this at a reduced price at Seaworld on Tuesday and i am so glad we went for it...what a beautiful park we had a amazing day everything about it was perfect got there early for the breakfast about 9 which was lovely dolphin swim (which i didnt do) at 11.30 they let my daughter in at the end to pet the dolphin and feed her and get some pics the reef encounter is out of this world and we spent ages just having a laugh floating about the lazy river there was hardly anyone there it was a well needed rest after a busy few days x"

I've asked on the thread how the offer was advertised at Seaworld, so hopefully she will reply.

And I've had a very quick response

"We were just walking by the wee stand and a woman stopped us and asked were we doing it and told us about the offer i thought it was bound to be a timeshare thing but it wasn't. Special offer for feb as they were trying to fill park up."

Here is the reply I received from DC via email this morning:


Dear Gina,

Thank you for contacting Discovery Cove.

There are times that guests with full priced SeaWorld tickets are offered discounts to our other parks. I am thinking that this is what you were hearing about with the posting. I do not know if this is an offer that will be available when you are going to be visiting the park or if you will be offered something else or if there will not be an offer when you are visiting.

I would love this. Doubt it will happen during our August visit. Just discussing with hubby. Anyone offered this who wasn't sure, should take the non swim option. A rest day with breakfast, lunch, snacks and alcohol included - no brainer!!
