Special Occasion recognition?

Hey all. Just a random question. We're going to be down at WDW right after my MIL's 60th birthday & my IL's somethingth anniversary. So, I was thinking about adding a note about the 2 occasions to the two ADR's we have as a group while we're there. What has anyone seen done for a special occ at 50's Prime Time &/or Akershus. I'm thinking of getting my MIL's birthday noted on the 50's & the anniversary at Akershus, so FIL can get a bit of extra attention from the pretty girls. I'm not expecting miracles here. Just wondered what we could expect from the two places. (I figure any extra attention will be heavenly for my 2 nieces & DS.)

I would call back and tell them you are celebrating a special occassion. We celebrated a bday at Disney for our son. Told them when we made our reservations. After the meal they came out w/ dessert and there were candles and the room sang Happy Bday to him. He was beaming. It was just a nice little extra! Give it a try

On my DD's 13th b-day this past August, we had dinner at Akershus.
I'd had her b-day noted on our ADR.

The only reason I did not pre-order a b-day cake was because we were taking an Illuminations b-day cruise right after the dinner, & I was having a cake delivered to the boat.

At the restaurant, she got a card signed by all the princesses & they did bring out a dessert...can't remember if it was ice cream or a cupcake.
