special night-which one?

Next year,we've booked an offsite villa.
Looks fab,and definitely I felt much cheaper than onsite.

But I still feel the need to experience emh and full Disney immersion.
Have had villa stays previously,and had "one nighters" at values for emh and free parking. Worked a treat,but fancied a deluxe.

So, either contemporary-mk is our favourite park.
Or wilderness lodge,or
Savannah view at akl?

Or,choose value again,and save pennies?
I'm just so decisive!!

Which would you choose,and why?

If it was for one night just to get the EMH/free parking I'd go for the cheapest. Or maybe a delux because its affordable for one night. Or maybe just the nearest hotel to the park I was going into for EMH..

Now I am sure that has NOT helped you at all

But in all honesty I would go delux and go to the Poly. Its one place where I like the food but have never ever wanted to stay (my least fav of all the delux resorts) and this would maybe a good time to test the waters so to speak and see why so many people love it there.

You are clearly as good with decision making as I am!

However,I think the answer is contemporary,as that's the one I think "oooh" to the most.
The next question is either rent points for one night,or book through wdw?
Anyone hazard a guess which way would be most cost effective (for August 2014)

Poly or Contemporary for EMH (monorail).

Beach or Yacht Club for Epcot or DHS EMH.

Beach/Yacht Club pool is awesome as well

A friend of a friend,once stayed at beach club,but has never been back-think it was literally a once in a lifetime- but then again so many are meant to be,but don't quite work out that way!

Hands down the Contemporary - it's the only hotel you can walk to MK from (I would choose an MK EMH)

I'd go for there too, or even you suggested -hire some points and stay at the BLT next to the Contemporary

We stayed at BLT last year and its great for walking to MK, takes about 5mins.

If i was wantung to do EMH at MK then it would definitley be my choice.

Walks easy about a 10 minute stroll. We always walk to MK as it is sooo much quicker. Sometimes we get the monorail back as its the first stop and we do enjoy the monorail too

we keep looking at other resorts to stay at but it keeps drawing us back.

yeah we're the same.
We usually take the monorail on our first day, just to look around the monorail loop and arrive at MK in style
