Ok, so I'm looking for a special idea for a mother/daughter dinner. I had planned on Akershus, but I've not seen good reviews from there lately. I'm still considering that, or maybe doing the buffet at 1900 Park Fare?
Our situation is a bit different, though. I'm the daughter (24) and my mom (the surprise trip recipient) would kill me if I told her age. I want to plan something special for just the two of us (while DH and DF go to ESPN Club.)
I had my heart set on Akershus as a princess dinner, but I don't want to have a bad experience because of the food. We're normally not picky; it just doesn't look like the dinners there have been great lately.
Any opinions on the two - Akershus or 1900 Park Fare - would be fantastic. Or, if you have any other ideas, I'd greatly appreciate those! (I don't want to do CRT as we've done that every trip and it's not on my mom's favorite's list.)
