Have you ever purchased anything ( major) and received a "perk" afterwards?


I bought my van a few weeks ago ( an 01 Caravan) and today I got a really nice personalized calendar with our picture that the dealership had taken. It was very nicely done and something I would be glad to display. It isnt full of advertising, just a very nice calendar. It also came with a nice letter of appreciation and some other nice little things.

This does exactly what its supposed to do, it makes me want to come back. I do something similar with my clients... and I hope it imparts the same feelings!

I work for our accountant on Cape Cod. She also has a rose business. Two of her clients are auto dealerships. After someone buys a vehicle from them, the dealer gives her their name, address, and phone number, and she then sets up a time to deliver a dozen roses to that person. There's a carpet/flooring company on the Cape that does this too. After they install your new carpet or flooring, she delivers a dozen roses to the customer.

When we bought our Chevy Venture (Warner Brothers Edition), about a month later they sent us a very nice tote bag, then a folding cooler, a blanket that folds up and you keep in the back of the car for emergencies and lastly they sent the kids each an Etch A Sketch! We also were sent a coupon for $30 off anything at the Warner Brothers website in which we got the kids a Scooby Doo Gumball Machine! We got something new each month!
