Okay, I have seen this on some menus. We are going December 13-19th, 2008. How much is this "special pricing" increase and when does it occur?

I am one to budget and save for our WDW meals. I like to know in advance pricing of buffets so I won't be short.:thumbsup2

Not sure about this year as the dates aren't out yet but this is what allears.net said last year

Holiday Dining Surcharges that were in effect for the Thanksgiving Holiday season will also be in effect from December 16 - January 5, 2008. Prices will be higher at the following restaurants: Boma Breakfast and Dinner, Cape May Breakfast and Dinner Buffet, Chef Mickey's Breakfast and Dinner, Trails End Buffet, 1900 Park Fare Breakfast and Dinner, 'Ohana Breakfast and Dinner, Yacht Club Galley Breakfast Buffet, Tusker House, Garden Grill, Princess Storybook Dining, Crystal Palace, Liberty Tree Tavern Character Dinner, Cinderella's Royal Table, and Play 'n' Dine at Hollywood and Vine.

Hope this helps some!!

I tend to think that for your dates you are fine with the standard pricing. That is still value season.

Add in about $5 more per person and if the prices are raised during your time, you have it. If not, unexpected money to spend on the vacation.

This year it was $4 per adult and $2 per child.

Thanks everyone. We are going to try to get into Chef Mickeys and O'Hana the first or second day of our trip anyway. Maybe we can squeeze in before the holiday pricing. I would much rather have that extra $15 for a souvenier or special snack for DS:goodvibes
