Special/fav things to do while snowed in (inspired by nicurn)

I just replied to nicurn's post about being no school for a week and thought we could all share our "snowed-in" activities and suggestions. Cabin fever is a nasty illness that can even take down grown-ups!

After over a week of no school and bad roads, I held a pitch-in for the parents & kids on our street. The dining room was "adults only" and we had a ball. It gave the kids something to do and gave the adults a break from hearing, "I'm bored..... there's nothing to do...."

Anybody do any projects? cards for nursing homes? vacation planning?

How do you handle cabin fever?
