Special Fall Rates Announced for Annual Passholders!

They should be able to change your existing reservation over the phone.

Lou

OK thanks. I will call them then. Do I call Royal Pacifics # or is there another # I should call?

I called and switched my ressie today and ordered my tickets online. Thanks for the info. I saved $300. They sent me an email with my new rate of $129 a night. It doesnt say anything about the 4th night free in the email but it was mentioned over the phone.

The kids eat free promotion is for any length of stay. Just show your pass at those restaurants.

I am confused on using the APH code. Can I use it if I have a "Power Pass" type annual pass, or do I need a special kind of Annual Pass?

I believe the offer is only good for those with the Preferred Annual Pass - the one without the blackout days.

I am hoping that they offer this same promotion in December as they did last year. The week before Christmas has become our favorite time of year to go! No crowds and all the fun of the decorations!

Do you remember when they gave out that promotion last year ? A quick trip to Universal the week before Christmas would be nice if the right kind of deal came through. :charac4:

If I remember correctly, they announced it sometime mid November. It was good from Nov. 28th through December 24. We ended up making last minute plans over the Thanksgiving break when we heard about it. Best trip we have had so far!

The only difference was that instead of the kids eat free, they offered free resort parking and coupons for 2 free drinks. Otherwise the room rates were the same, along with the 4th night free.

When we booked our room we used the APH discount. It didn't specify that you needed a "preferred annual pass" is that the case? I have a preferred but my sister who booked as one with blackout dates. Do you think this will be a problem?

It could be. The APH discounts are only good with the PAP. However, that said, I have checked in numerous times and they have never once asked to see my pass. However, others have reported that they have asked to see the pass. The risk you take is that if they ask your sister to see the pass and she doesn't have the PAP, her room rate will revert to rack rate. You have to weigh the risks. But you can upgrade your power pass to a PAP for around $60.00 if you don't want to take the chance.

I was able to book an APH discount today for check in on October 23!

HRH is $179 for garden view or $279 for Club Level.
PBR had Club level for $299
RPR is sold out.

I went with the club level room at HRH. Now I have to call concierge and try to rent a cabana!!

Just got back last night from a great trip. I had originally booked RPR with the Stay 4 Play free deal at $234 a night, then I found out about the APH rate and called and switched to the APH rate at $129 for 3 nights and the 4th night free and ordered my AP. Yesterday when I got my bill hanging on my door it had 4 nights at $129 + tax, so I went to the front desk to ask about this. I told her I should be getting 3 nights at $129 and the 4th night free with the AP rate, she said she would have to check. She went in the back and came back and told me that deal was $229 a night with the 4th night free. I paid my bill for the 129 for 4 nights. So should I call back and try and get a refund? Has anyone else been on this deal and got that rate of 129 for 3 nights and the 4th free.

My reservation cleary states, "APH 4th night free promotion". I made sure that the front desk has that showing up on their screens when they pull the ressie and had the reservations manager email me the reservation stating such with the exact price for each night.
It took a couple of calls to make sure the front desk has the exact rate I reserved but I've heard of too many stories where people are charged at a different rate.

I got that deal last year... and yes, it was at the AP rate & 4th free. The web site has it that way now..they shouldn't have charged you. Go into the offical site & put dates in & see what rates come up. Print it out...than fax to them...and request your refund.

I got the same rate! YAY!!! When you recieved your confirmation email did it just say $309 or did it say $279 ? I know the weekdays are $279 and the weekends are $309, but my email only said $309. I am kinda wondering if i should call and have them send me an email with the specifics!! lol

Also, we are staying for a week @ the HRH. Do you think they would make me change rooms if i booked the first 3 nights ( sunday - wed ) at the APH rate of $279 and then booked the last 4 nights ( wed -saturday ) at the 4FREE rate of 3 nigths @ $349 with the 4th night free? Doing it that way would save us a little under $150 ( including tax ) but i dont know if it would be worth listening to my hubby complain about changing rooms.

thanks,
DF

DF,

I have not received an email confirmation yet. I have had two room rates for one stay before. I was told when we made the reservation that we may have to change rooms. But when checking into the resort (RPR), I asked about it and she did all the paper work then. We did not have to change to a different room. I say go for it if it's going to save you money.
