Special events onboard for May 4th or Cinco de Mayo?

I just realized that we’ll be sailing on the Treasure for May the 4th (Star Wars Day) and actually in port in Cozumel, Mexico on Cinco de Mayo.

Has anyone sailed on these dates previously? Are we likely to see anything special onboard?

We have and there was nothing. We'll be on Magic and are making our own Cinco de Mayo!

We are on this cruise as well.

Keep in mind, Cinco de Mayo is not really celebrated through most of Mexico. To make a long story short, while it is a holiday in Mexico to celebrate the outnumbered Mexican military defeating French invaders, a dictator made the day about himself and his power, which ultimately ruined the holiday. Cinco de Mayo is now little more than a marketing ploy by beer companies in the US.

We are also on this cruise. Not expecting anything. We were on the fantasy last May 4th and there was nothing special.
