special DVC pin for collector ?

Just bought into DVC and I'm wondering any pins for DVC member if so where is it sold ??? I guess it's a member only and you show your member card if you want to buy ???

They had some limited edition pins at the Merry Mixer for purchase.

There are DVC pins for each quarter of each year, and for most special events throughout the year. For instance, there is a DVC pin for the Epcot 25th anniversary, MVMCP, MNSSHP, Flower & Garden, etc. The DVC pins can be purchased at any DVC resort gift shop as well as Pintraders (DTD), Epcot Pin Central, MK Uptown Jewelers, AK Island Mercantile, and at the MGM Hat. You have to present your DVC ID to make the purchase.

The pins are usually kept in a drawer next to the cash register, and you just have to inquire about them. As someone said before, you will have to prove that you are a DVC member.

If you want the pins for sentimental value or a DVC memory--then there are tons of pins out there. If this is the case, the pins from your home resort(s) will be nice. All the resorts have pins, but they are not limited edition pins.
There are also limited edition pins from each resort for various occasions. However, the majority are not from a very small limited edition size; nor do they increase in value or collectibility.
Do not misunderstand, there are some DVC resort issued pins that are collectible and have increased in value---but they are the exception rather than the rule.
