Special Diet Hotline

Has anyone ever called the hotline for special diets and food allergies? I called over a week ago and a second time last week and still have not heard from them. The recording says to leave your info and someone will get back to you in 2 business days.

The reason why I'm calling is because we are doing the dessert party at the Magic Kingdom and my mom is on a very low fat diet. I want to make sure there's something other than a couple pieces of fruit for her to eat.

Try posting this question on the disABILITIES board.

I've never called. I've always emailed. I don't remember how long before I got a response but it always seemed as though the initial response was very quick. After that, follow-up responses from Brenda came through very quickly as well.

There's a sticky FAQ thread on the disAbilities! board with the Special Diets email address. That's the best way to reach someone. I've always received an email response within a day. You'll get a form emailed to you where you list your ADRs and dietary requests and email back to them. They take care of notifying the chefs at each restaurant. It's a great service.
