Special Diet for 4 year old

Hi all!
Hoping you can help me out! My family (DH, me, 10DS, 8DS & 4DS) will be travelling to WDW the end of Feb. 4DS cannot tolerate greasy/fatty foods. Can anyone recommend some fast food places in all 4 parks where he may be able to eat? I know the other 2 boys will be anxious to eat and go, so the sit down meals are probably not an option. Would the parks allow me to pack his lunch only, given his diet restrictions?

Even when you could find the "no food" policy in writting, WDW alwasy made exceptions for dietary needs. Now it has basically dissapeared, but if contacted by e mail, their respones will basicallybe "water is allowed. Food for special dietary needs (including baby food) is allowed. Usually the only glass they "allow" (you probably wouldn't be stopped with most things anyway) is glass baby food jars.

Anyway... what can/will he eat? Most fast food places do have healthier options


also since I like to take a nice break mid day I always plan a lunch that will keep the kids entertained, so if you have the $$ in your budget, you could book character meals, eat at restaurants in WS that have live entertainment, eat at Rainforrest Cafe in DD or AK.

Ditto to what sha_lyn said.

In terms of readily-available counter service, many places serve grilled chicken sandwiches and PB&J on the kids menu. Some will substitute grapes or carrots for fries.

If it's in the busget, I would try to plan at least a few sit down meals. Those fries and sandwiches can get old real fast. At sit downs he could share a more adult, low fat meal with you. There are however some options in fast food but you have to look for some of them. I too would carry at least some food for him. Good luck!!!
