Special Christmas dinner buffet?

I thought I knew just about everything Disneyland, but the only time I have been on Christmas day was in 96'. Anyway my extended family is planning a trip this following Christmas and while talking about it casually mentioned that they planned on doing the special Christmas dinner buffet, which is held in the ballroom of the hotel, and only available on Christmas day (and perhaps a few other big holidays).

The thing is, I have never heard of this, and can only find loose indications that it may be real, but no trip reports, or photos, or prices, or explanations of what exactly it is.

Have any of you been? is it real?

They do Thanksgiving dinner like that, but no Christmas dinner.
