Special Cartoon Characters?

My wife and I will be going to WDW this Fall with my grandkids and my daughter and she says that there are some special tv cartoon characters there in the fall. She thinks it is Sept. My granddkids will be 5 and 3 at that time. Can anyone help me info on this event since I do not find it under special events. Thank you

The only thing I can think of is the "Preschool Magic Time." They have run that for the past few years. I don't know of any extra characters that are out, but in the past, they have had a concert series where acts like The Wiggles, The Doodlebops, Ralph's World, and Johnny and the Sprites have performed. There are also other perks, like Fantasyland opens earlier for preschoolers. Typically, there is also a free dining offer at this time of the year. The crowds aren't bad because most kids are just back in school and parents don't want to take them out.

I would like to book rooms and airlines but I do not know when this event is being held. Can you recommend some one who might know what I am looking for? Disney has not offered this for a couple of years. I think it was last offered in 2007.

That makes sense. We were there for it in '06. It ran from mid-to-late August into September, with each of the special acts staying for a few days.

Disney's fun whenever you go. You'll save money on the airfare if you can book it when the fares are released. Also, look for the fall discounts to come out soon. There is a schedule of when they have historically been released on mousesavers.com.
